WebVisions is a don’t miss event. Bringing together the freshest minds in the field, it’s the best bang for your buck for learning the trends to come on the web and in mobile computing. You can meet with the movers and shakers of the wireless world who are creating tomorrow’s web, today.
This will be my 4th year attending (as a volunteer), and while my schedule is pretty packed this spring, I made a way to commit to this truly valuable conference. Just a few workshops that I’m interested in are: Html 5 and CSS3 in Practice, the New Web Typography: Where the Sexy is, Mapping a Unified Experience across Multiple Devices, and 5-Critical Elements of Storytelling.
Also on the slate are a bunch of mobile-computing related workshops like Mobile UX Essentials and 3G Social Media for the Enterprise, and for you REALLY codey-geeks, User Interface Design with jQuery and Hands-On AIR 4 Android Development.
Additionally, the presenters are SO generous with their information. Many will post their powerpoints on SlideShare for you to get later, even if you didn’t attend the workshop.
So, mark your calendar for the Wed, Thurs, and Friday, May 25-27, just before Memorial day (and stay the weekend) in our beautiful city!
